METEORITE

In Meteorite, the Thracians who go out to pray for rain encounter something completely different than they expected. The biggest problem of the people living in the village of Günebakan in Thrace is the drought. The villagers, who are looking for ways to get rid of the drought, decide to go out to pray for rain. As soon as the prayers are said, all eyes turn to the sky. Everyone's eyes are on the rain that is about to fall. However, they encounter something completely different than they expected. Instead of rain, meteorite pieces fall from the sky. Everyone is in shock. American, German and Russian agents begin to flock to the village to conduct investigations and pay serious fees for the meteorites they take from the villagers to examine. The village headman İsmet is determined to benefit from this and collects donations from what the people sell using various cunning tricks. While the people try to sell the meteorites to the agents at high prices, they also deal with the cunning of the headman. In the meantime, the headman's son Bahadır, who dreams of becoming a singer, falls in love with the reporter Ceylan who comes to the village to report. The village of Günebakan has never experienced such chaos before.
